Terms of Use

1. What we are

TZPropertyHub is a listing and messaging platform. We connect owners, agents (dalali) and people looking for property. We are not a party to any rental or sale, and we do not own, inspect or guarantee any property.

A "Verified" badge means we checked the identity of the person who posted. It is not a guarantee about the property, the price or the person's behaviour.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google. You must be at least 18 and give us accurate information. One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

3. Posting listings

Only post property you own or are authorised to advertise. Photos must show the real property. Price, location and details must be accurate.

You must state every fee upfront: any viewing fee (pesa ya mzunguko) and any commission. Hiding fees, bait-and-switch photos, fake listings and duplicates are not allowed.

Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. We may reject, edit-request or remove a listing, and editing a live listing may send it back for review.

4. Behaviour

Be honest and respectful. No scams, harassment, spam, hate or illegal content. Do not ask people to pay a deposit or fee before they have seen the property.

Phone numbers stay private until the other person accepts your request in the chat. Do not misuse numbers you receive.

5. Reviews

Only people who chatted with an agent and received a reply can review that agent. Reviews must be truthful and based on your own experience. We may remove reviews that are fake, abusive or unrelated.

6. Staying safe

Do your own checks. Visit the property, verify ownership and documents, and use a lawyer for contracts and sales. Never send money to someone you have not met. Report suspicious listings or people using the Report button.

7. Our responsibility

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses arising from dealings between users, from inaccurate listings, or from the site being unavailable.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to display it on TZPropertyHub and in our marketing for the service, for as long as it is on the site.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms. If changes are important we will tell you on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
